Kelly Montgomery, Project Coordinator

Kelly Montgomery has always believed the kitchen is the heart of the home. Growing up in Mechanicsburg, she spent hours in her grandparents’ kitchen on Simpson Street – filled with laughter, good food, and generations of family. That early love for gathering spaces has followed her through every stage of life.

After graduating from Dickinson College, Kelly moved frequently with her husband and growing family. Each new home brought a new kitchen, and she found ways to make each one special. In 2012, she designed her dream kitchen in Glen Ellyn, Illinois – complete with a Wolf range, custom cabinets, a farmhouse sink, and an enormous island she danced around often (just ask her kids). Though it was hard to leave that space behind, she returned to Mechanicsburg with her passion for kitchens firmly intact.

Before joining Mother Hubbard’s, Kelly worked at Marcel’s Culinary Experience, a high-end, successful kitchen store and recreational cooking school. There, she enjoyed doing live cooking demos, helping customers find the perfect tools, and creating visually stunning merchandise displays-especially designing the store’s window displays, where her creativity could truly shine.

Now a Project Coordinator at Mother Hubbard’s, Kelly brings her love of design, her organizational skills, and her personal experience to every job. She’s detail-oriented and dedicated to helping clients stay on schedule – and get the kitchen of their dreams.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys reading, knitting, and spending time with her two German Wirehaired Pointers, Bea and Hugo. She stays connected with her three kids and loves relaxing with her husband at their home along the Yellow Breeches Creek in Mechanicsburg.
